Robin Williams - Williams Thanks His Wife For Easy Divorce

Funnyman ROBIN WILLIAMS has paid tribute to his estranged wife MARSHA, thanking her for not turning their divorce battle into a messy and expensive affair.

Williams and his soon-to-be ex filed for divorce in March (08), citing irreconcilable differences.

And now the actor has gone public with his thoughts about the upcoming divorce battle.

Speaking on Ellen DeGeneres' U.S. TV talk show on Tuesday (06May08), Williams said, "I'm lucky... with someone like Marsha, and we have amazing kids and it's not a slash and burn.

"I think a lot of times divorce can be like circumcision with a weed whacker."

Britney Spears to return home for Jamie Lynn’s baby shower

Britney Spears is heading home for her pregnant sister Jamie Lynn’s baby shower.
The ‘Toxic’ star is reportedly leaving Los Angeles later today to arrive in Kentwood, La., in time for tomorrow�s bash at mom Lynne Spears� house, Serenity. Britney was last seen in Kentwood in November 2006.
An insider tells Life & Style magazine: “The shower�s on Saturday at Lynne�s house.
“At first, Jamie [Britney’s dad] didn�t think it was a good idea for Brit to go. He thought it might create chaos in Kentwood, and he wasn�t sure he wanted to put Jamie Lynn � or Britney � in the middle of that.

Ifans Denies Summer Wedding To Miller

Welsh actor Rhys Ifans has denied rumors he is set to marry his fiancee Sienna Miller in a summer ceremony this year. The couple was reportedly preparing to wed in August - a year after Miller rejected his first proposal, when the Notting Hill star asked for her hand in marriage by sending her a cryptic message in Welsh, which read: "Marry The Misfit." The Factory Girl star said no for the second time when Ifans asked again at her 26th birthday party in December - but she finally agreed to marry him on his third attempt in March. Reports have since been rife that the couple is planning a low-key celebration in the coming months, but Ifans has dismissed the claims. He tells Britain's Closer magazine, "I'm not marrying Sienna this summer. I'm taking a break at the moment and just want to chill out." And, despite recent speculation of a split, Miller insists they are happier than ever: "I am in love - Rhys and I are the best of mates and life is going great."

Banks not leaving her Top Model

American talk show host Tyra Banks has denied reports that she's quitting the hit TV show 'America's Next Top Model', which she created, produces and presents.
The retired supermodel was rumoured to be leaving the show amid speculation she was arguing with one of her fellow presenters.
According to OK! Magazine she was "...not getting along with Jay Manuel. She thinks he has become a diva. The way she sees it, it's thanks to her that he now has a makeup line, a show on Style Network and hosts Canada's version of 'Top Model'."
It was also alleged that the 34-year-old's time on 'America's Next Top Model' was "detracting" her from her "big plans" to focus on her chat show, 'The Tyra Banks Show'.
However Banks' spokesperson insists the reports are inaccurate.
The representative told Usmagazine.com: "The rumours about Tyra leaving and the fight with Jay are not true!"
